This is from Wardlow Custom Masks (www.wardlowbras.com) and is the first they've done for a classic Speedster replica. They did Gerd Kerswell's JPS widebody as their first Speedster replica. Since I'm on the opposite coast it took a couple of tries to get it right, but I heartily recommend them. They're really nice folks and have a superior product.

Yeah, it's kinda big. But in 2500 miles I've fixed some 30 or so chips big enough to show fiberglass, so I'm a big fan of "big". This area is a shipping center and also in the midst of a construction boom - a bad combination for low cars. My 3 year old Acura will probably need the front end repainted in a couple of years.

Kinda feel safer with this puppy on the front.

Lane, it looks great! Does hood open easily with the bra on? It looks that way. How much and what is the wait after ordering? Thanks for being the trial horse for this excellent bra er--- bro.

The hood opens normally, although getting it closed takes just a little more force. It took about 3 weeks for it to arrive the first time, followed by some trial fitting and marking before returning it to them with some photos. I believe it took about 4 weeks for them to modify it and get it back to me. They're great folks to work with.

As for the price, I got a break because it was the first for this body, and they knew there would be some issues with fit in the beginning. I think the normal price is around $325 (or is it $375?), but I'd recommend checking with them to be sure. You'll probably be talking with Krtistina Westover, who s great to deal with. Tell her you I sent you.
