Did anyone see the article on Renee in last months 356 Registry magazine? My daughters looked over my should when I was reading the article and saw the yellow H4's in her street car.

"You need to do that to Sally!" (they are young and liked the CARS movies...alot.)

So I did - and I love the look. More importantly, so do they - ha!

I used to run just the yellow H4 bulbs in my 914-6 and thought they were great, so I was not afraid of any lighting issues - especially with having the driving lights on the nose. The actual yellow glass in these units is definitely more in your face.

Here are some pics.

I was also surprised at how dirty the inside of the lenses were. They did not look dirty to me at all, but are way clearer after a good scrubbing. Need to check the gaskets...

Thank you Michael McKelvey. The original glass lens have never fit under the jail bar grill type guards. Yes, the bugs just splat on the inner glass, but within minutes the grills are off for inner glass cleaning. I've been running without outer glass for 3 years with no issue as long as I'm not driving in the rain. I can see the lamp housing rusting very quickly if kept wet for long periods of time.
