GP spyder - napoleon hat modification | 356 Speedster, 550 Spyder, Replica, Automotive Community

Hi all,

Long time no talk. I've been out of the replica world for a while, but just took on a new Rsk project. So I'm back!

I'm building out a vw based racer. Its a complete frame off build with a Gp spyder body. We are in the chassis stage.

We plan to add a tilton 3 pedal assembly. This requires that we chop the napoleon hat. I've been speaking with Robert at Gp Spyder. He has been very helpful; providing pictures and advice. I thought I'd reachout to my old spyderowner friends and see if any one has done the modifications, or if anyone has pictures / dimensions I can look at.
