Grainger top ltches

A couple of years ago I bought some SS top latches from Grainger as recommend by someone on this forum
I did not keep the PN and now need to buy more, but no idea of what i need

There is no ID on the bag except for the name "Carey"

Anyone know?

Carey Hines at Special Edition (the Beck folks) perhaps?

Carey is the brand name on the Grainger bag and presumably nothing to do with Carey Hines

As I say I bought these latches from Grainger before but did not keep a record on the PN.
It was once posted on this list, but search is of little help

I looked at McMaster-Carr. Item "C" sorta looks like a CMC latch. Not sure if the dimensions match, and they don't seem as pricey as Grainger.

Losing my memory with advancing years and confused Grainger with MCMaster. No wonder I could not find it

McMaster page 2947, item C is the same as the CMC.
I have both the item C and the CMC in my hand and can confirm that they are the same
Both are adjustable

McMaster (Carey brand) comes with the mating half to mount on the windscreen frame if you are adding a centre clasp

Cost 13.72 in 303 SS and 7.73 in zinc plated

It looked to me like the part that has the mounting holes is reversed 180 degrees from the CMC ones.

On the CMC latches that part is oriented like the E latch.

Yep, it sure does. You could punch the pin out and reverse it to fix this.
