Very nice day. Fun on the road with Jim, Eddy, GERD and Vince. Cruisin' PCH and Malibu Canyon Road up to The Rock Store. GERD's new coupe is very bitchin'. The five of us got plenty of 'thumbs up' as we traveled in a pack this AM.

Couple more...Jim shot some video. He's probably in Post Production right now! Can't wait.

Man, was that fun OR WHAT?? Great day for a cruise. Clear skies, temps in the 70's and winding canyon roads. I put together a quick video of our shake-down cruise with Gerd in his bitchen Blue Coupe. Still unfinished (door panels, rear seats, stereo, drum skins) but Gerd was really jonesing for a cruise so he borrowed it from the JPS shop for the day...

The headliner on GERD's coupe is especially cool. Kind of a herringbone fabric; much nicer than the "dotted print" on 356s and VWs.
And the no exterior door handles? Wish I'd thought of that one.

Rumor has it that you spent some time on the other side of the camera filming a Fedex commercial, where they shaved you and dressed you up as a matador. I haven't verified it yet, but am going to google "fedex matador commercial" right now to check it out.
