So got my first badge and the qustions is do I need remove the grill to install. It came with the mounting hardware, I am looking for the easy button.

yes, remove grill and install
must be a beck thing as the Jps is really easy to remove and install
Tom's car must not be a Vintage or a JPS, because its 4 little screws to remove the grill and probably the easiest thing on the entire car to remove.
It's still just got four screws, but you have to work your hand up in the vents on the underside of the engine lid to get to the nuts on the ends of the screws. Kind of a PITA.
