My ground strap looked a little suspect and I decided to swap it with a 4 ga. battery cable from O’Reilly’s. Little did I know that the old Vintage Speedster shop would more than likely turn a single stock ground strap into two by cutting it in half; that’s what it looks like: no terminal on one side. Maybe that has been the cause of my dimly lit alternator light ever since I got the car from the shop over 20 years ago. We’ll report back as I drive it.
