GT fuel tank and cap info needed | 356 Speedster, 550 Spyder, Replica, Automotive Community

Anyone know where to get those kits that provide the "through the hood" GT style filler neck and caps? I've seen the drilled caps for sale, but I was kinda wondering if there was a kit or assembly that I could pick up which had an extended filler neck (braze on or clamp on) with the cap and necessary extras?

I'll be using the original Pre-A tank with the BIG cap. I just unearthed it and it's in terrific shape. No rust at all, still in the original galvanized finish, so I want to use it. BUT I want to have one of those cool GT style caps pokin' through the hood ! !

Any help?

Simon, Wow. very nice. I believe that cap is the same as a VW bus 56-67. (80mm).

Simon, What car does that spill tray come from?

I matched my neck adaptor to a standard aero 8 x 4" pcd so I could use off the shelf funnels and spill trays
