Pic #1 - Went on a sabbatical in the desert this weekend with my beater Rover. Enjoyed clear skies under a full moon. The pic is of a 4x4 trail in Sandstone Canyon (Anza Borrego Desert, SoCal). There was some awesome trail damage from the 7.1 earthquake that occurred on Easter 2010. Huge boulders had fallen from the cliffs onto the trail in several places. I've done this trail many times before. I guess timing is everything.

Pic #2 - Will P is back in SoCal after 3 months in Florida. I met with him and his main squeeze in Laguna Beach for breakfast/lunch (Coyote Grill, a favorite of the locals). Spectacular weather and great ocean view while enjoying our meal.

Pic #3 - On the way home after lunch in Laguna Beach, I took a quick pic by the beach (Corona Del Mar/Newport Beach). Awesome weather 3 days before Thanksgiving 2010!

Hope you all had a great weekend as well...

Peace - Out!

Jim,
You ever watch "IRT - The deadliest Roads" on TV? Some American truckers on the India side of the Himalyas. Vertical drop offs, no guard rails, narrow roads, landslides, locals use their horns to determine right of way, and Truckers have "spotters" to help with passing traffic. Totally insane. Beautiful scenery.

Your Land Rover would be right at home.
