Cool! I think the hardtop adds a bit more bad-a$$ to the look of the car!
FWIW, here's a pic of SOCer Doug Kingston's car with hard-top at our last West Coast Cruise.
Best of luck with your project!

Nice combo on that car
I guess black is a cool colour eh Jim
"Hard Top in The Raw" ....
I'd be terrified to Google that
We did David Bayne's hard top last year had to stretch it 2.5" at center ...interesting intensive labor project. Sorry this is the only photo I have of it. This was my first attempt doing this only after David rode my case to do it. Since David is a good guy we agreed to have at it...how bad could it turn out ? My friend Randy has a shop, we did the alterations there...IMHO I would not have attempted this in my home shop. It did turn out very nicely.

I've always loved the look of your car, Bill, with the hard tonneau and 5 spokes (one of the few flared Speedster I like), but the hardtop looks like an after thought. It comes up like a bubble from the top of the windshield and takes away from the car's "sleekness".
Thanks Al. I think once it's painted black it will flow better. The nice thing is that it is removable.
It looks a little funky now in raw fiberglass, but I'm sure it will look really sweet once painted. What provision for a rear window do you have? Is it angled back or straight up and down behind the seats?
Or is it open behind the seats?
Open until I decide if it's really needed. The Ferrarri on Petrolicious that Cory posted on facebook has what I'm after. I may end up with just some sort of windscreen.

Looking great! Do you know what they use for the rear window? I like the width and the curve.
I think the Rusty Tubs tops for replicas are already lengthened.
Any idea of what the rear window came from?
It's plexiglass/lexan of some sort and is made custom for the top.
