The rarity is only in the script. The "European" script and the "Continental" script were both dropped (one due to a lawsuit by Ford) but the car is the exact same specification as any other '56 US cab. Some of these early cars actually had the script denoted on the Kardex, which may hold some value to the Porsche crowd, but the general consensus seems to be that it is not really all that special... Nice car nonetheless!

If I am not mistaken, it is a Cabriolet. Is the double tale lights on each rear side normal?

In early-mid 1957, Porsche dropped the bee hive lights and switched to the teardrop. At the same time they went from top down on the license plate light to bottom up. Someone correct me if needed.

I think there were some transitional cars that had shine down & tear drop.
