Hi Guys, I'm working on a project Speedster. Getting to the point where installing engine onto the rolling chassis. Was looking at this stainless exhaust from cip1.com .... I'm wondering if anybody use the same exhaust, how it sounds, and just as importantly, what it looks like hanging out the back of your car! :-) Lol Do you like it?

I have no experience with the Empi exhaust. As much as it will get driven (or not driven), how about the A1 (we can do ceramic coating for $65 more)? Otherwise, the raw steel is the same as SS Empi.
It should be noted that aircooled.net is, sadly, out of business.
just make sure it will clear the body, I only use dropped tip exhaust from tri-mill, otherwise it won’t clear unless I raise the body or cut openings… sounds and looks great, it is available at socalautoparts.com

… and that those are pre-C19 prices, easily undershooting what things currently cost by 50% +/-.
It should also be noted that over on TheSamba there have been many complaints from guys who ordered from Tiger and then ghosted for up to (and over) a year, without any progress being made on their order. He seems to deliver… eventually, but a bird in hand beats two in the bush.
As to aircooled.net links— none are relevant for anything but a reference point.
Tiger made my exhaust. Wasn’t cheap but it looks and sounds fantastic. It also has little down pipes that bolt to the engine. The exhaust then bolts to the down pipes. Exhaust can be removed in minutes. Greg obviously has priority access to Tiger and his products. Probably why some folks wait.
