BTW, we ran into Lane and Mike drooling over the real stuff at Amelia Island. But then, we were drooling as well. I was surprised at the 1955 550 that went for $3.3M without commission. Unfortunately, we arrived too late to bid on that one. LOL.

I think Lane was trying to fix me up with an Aston Martin DB4ZT Zagato from CA. Cars from that area are too liberal for me ...

Lots of eye candy... Let's see, over a dozen Ferrari 250 GTO race cars, the FIA World Championship winning Shelby Cobra Daytona coupe, and a new Lamborghini Aventador, just to name a few. This is a place where the Bugatti Veyron Spyder a dealer was giving test drives in didn't even rate a second glance. The 1% of the 1% of the 1% were out in abundance.

Charles I missed you. Caught up w/ Lane on saturday at RM auction. There was a yellow Bugatti we both liked, but the deeds to both of our homes was still well short of what it went for. The 250 GTOs were what I was in search of, and they certainly did not dissapoint......one of them (#7) winning best in show.

I just gotta say that Lane sure knows how to act goofy.

Sure! It's a continuing development process. I'm still pleased and will continue to drive and enjoy the Red Man.

It is not so much that the Red Man has been improved on incrementally with each new build but it is the number, significance and high tech nature of the improvements.

Nonetheless, I feel much as Hoss does, I will continue to drive the Creme Brule Coupe with pride and abandon.:-)
