I have to sell my beloved 1957 Outlaw Speedster Replica. It has the Widebody, Comes with 7'+9'Fuchs Wheels with new Toyo Proxes RA1 Tires (Additionally with Fondmetal Wheels as well, see Pictures)

Engine is a 1835cc Type 1, Webcam Camshaft, Chevy Rods, Delorto Carburetors. Runs really well. ODO is now at 18'000 mls, but I'm sure I'll do a bit more until it's sold.

I also made a funny ad. If you are not afraid or offended of those

Yup that's the car then, same story.
Maybe it was Santa Rosa. The dash andsilver wheel cocombination is quite unique, which is how I recognized it. It was definately built for racing at local events. I wanted a cruiser non-wide body and at $8k it would have take too much to get it where I wanted it.

Good luck on your sell. Ebay has been good for visibility.

Don't be confused. Relationships have to end. Especially, when you lost your job.

I spent a lot of Money and Time on it meanwhile. The Wheels and Tires are 4k themselves. There were no wires to the brake lights for example (No Idea, how the PO got around with that car), the Electrics where totally mixed up anyway.

And 18'000 mlx is not really that much for an old car.

And the price is always negotiable. Oh, the Kit is still available. Costs a bit more though.

First, your pic's show 2 different sets of wheels, so. which are the really, really expensive set that sells with the tub?

Secondly, I still think your asking to much, but more power to you if you get what you want...

It comes with the Fuchs Wheels as seen in the Ad. I would probably give the other Wheels with the car as well. The rear 285's are just nowhere to be found anymore. And I liked Fuchs better. If I get bargained a lot, I would probably sell the Fondmetal separately

Bill, 'safety checks' are inconsistant even within the same state (or at least Connecticut)

Thirty seven years ago I underwent a sweat inducing experience as two DMV inspectors crawled all over my out-of-state '61 Roadster. They even charted the exhaust decibles!...Now, with the recent out-of-state Speedster replica, the total extent of the inspection consisted of checking the Vintage production number against the registration paperwork...?

I guess being first in the DMV line with your hair combed and a smile on your face works wonders.

In general the CHP is pretty easy on specialty cars in SoCal (IMO) but if you do get stopped, they won't be kind....

Wipers should be a must have, but I don't practice what I preach, my hotrod does not have any & my T-bird wiper motor does not work....

But this raises the question for me of what Mikey wants for his tub given known issues.....

I'm thinking of changing the reserve price on my tub when it goes to Mecum in November at Anaheim....

Well, I had be in Traffic Checks for a couple of times. No Issue so far. The Windscreen is so small, I never had an Issue driving in the Fog at the Bay, also I used the RainX Stuff, so no Problem driving without wipers (Except when you are in a Traffic Jam). The Wipers on my 914 didn't work either, but here it was very annoying.

It never Rains in California And to be honest, although I drove the Speedster daily, every normal human being drives a Car like this only on sunny Sundays
