Anyone have an interest in going to Vintage to inspect my car for me...more of the paint and trim than motor.  I can ask Kirk if he is good with that.  But before my car goes 3,000 miles to Jacksonville and me spending a ton on airfare to CA i thought I would ask.

Thanks and appreciate you considering

I read your post yesterday to Triviasteve. Don't fret. I took delivery of my Vintage Speedster three months ago and couldn't be happier. Not a bad idea to have a local check the car out. Good excuse for someone to go down and shoot the bull with Kirk. But don't worry, VS has an excellent reputation. I researched the matter before I made my purchase. To have built 3000 plus custom made Speedsters and have few come out lemons is damn good in my book. Be sure to get Kirk's advice on shipping. He got the car delivered to my door with great dispatch, inexpensively and problem free.

@ron.  I agree .  I have had a VS before and it was ten years old and you would never know it.  Being this far away cant hurt to have a set of eyes on it that have nothing to do with the transaction.  Kirk hooked me up with Alex who he uses to ship most of his cars and i have read a lot of reviews on him so I trust Kirk there.  Kirks a good dude and has put up with more than he should with me but i want my second speedster to be perfect for me!

Yeah.... and no Lol   and I'm really good at it. Have Passport, Will Travel. And all joking aside, I've done Boise, Idaho to New York up to Ottawa, Canada, then Sacramento, Cali 9,000 some odd miles down the coast up thru Vegas most of the good parts of Route 66 to Carlisle and up to Canada again. Last time down to Key West and up to Canada again via Carlisle and last summer over to the coast of Maine for some really nice lobster. I'm longing for a trip West to East along the Southern route. Never done it and I'd be happy to pull it off.
