Headlight Grills

Hi, I just purchased a set of Headlight Grills from Stoddard's. When I attemped to install them over my Headlights they seemed to be to small, is this because I have to remove the Glass Protector to install them?

Oscar, if the grills are like my set, then yes, the glass lens from the headlight assembly is replaced with the new grill.

Oh wow! I was under the impression that the Grills went over the glass? Any chance of you Patrick, or anybody else, has extra Headlight Lenses that they wish to sell to me? One of my lenses fell while trying to install the grills.

Patrick, do you have any more extra parts that you want to get rid of?

Oscar - I was just looking at this topic last night. Check "headlight guard" with the search function. If you have the vertical grill set up, I believe you can add a spacer in order to fit over the glass. There's a picture in the forum topic. How much was the grill from stoddards?

Mel, I paid $102.00 + $10.00 S&H which was a great deal compared to $175.00 if you purchase from Vintage.
