Sure it is!

A bunch of people on here have something like those shown on ebay.

The price is a little high, but if the quality is very good (meaning if the plating is thick and will go for years without pitting), then $125/pair is decent. If, on the other hand, they are average in quality with thin plating, you'll have to clear-coat them before you install them and re-coat them every few years. That's what I do with my el-cheapo horn grills....

Just remember - if you remove the outer glass lens and replace it with these grills, then the inner headlight sheetmetal "bucket" will certainly rust - it is not designed to be in the weather. It may take a little "Re-Engineering" to get these to fit on top of the outer glass - I don't know for sure, not having held them in my hands - but these things never seem to fall right together without doing something extra to them.

I installed some grills a few months ago. - - -maybe alittle longer than that. I removed the glass, so they would sit "flush" with the rest of the chrome ring. When we all got together last April for Morro Bay, I saw a few that were installed over the glass. The ring was stuck out 1/2" at the bottom where the bolt is.
I got accustomed to mine without the glass. I use a gun cleaning rod to clean the headlight glass, and remove the bugs.
I forgot - one more thing - - the bolt they send with the grills is not long enough. I don't care what the customer service says, its not long enough to go through the grill, 1/2" space to the body, and through enough to get some threads. I bought a 2" chrome bolt at our True Value Hardware here in town.. Also - - you can purshase the same grills that are show on that e-bay ad, from that place in
Pasadena for $20 cheaper.
