Does the headlight switch have a shorting terminal that will turn on a dome or courtesy light if you rotate the dash light dimmer all the way past brightest setting? I've searched this site and the Samba and can't find any thing on this. On all the old American cars I've had you could turn the dome light on by turning the dash dimmer all the way bright. I want to put in some under dash courtesy lights that light when I open the doors or turn the headlight switch. I also want to change my instrument bulbs to dimmable LEDs So I have some linear control of the gauge lights. Right now they go from barely readable to laser bright. I remember a past post someone had on these LEDs but I couldn't find it. Thanks.
