Headlights

I recently made a purchase on a Vintage spyder, very impressed thus far. I'm having some problems driving at night though. The headlights stare off into space, even at maximum adjustment. I've taken the front bezel assembly apart and can't find any way to lower the lights enough for proper adjustment. Any chance I'm using the wrong headlamps?

I've spent month to try to set up mine. For many times I've been considered as stupid as everybody was able to do it (specially by Greg)...
I've had to build a complete set with motor bike lights. I'm still looking to get a more original look... I've bought a set of original 350 lights but it still impossible to set up (too high).
I haven't found a "clean" solution yet...

just about everyone has the problem. I am of the opinion that hte lights are tilted too far back to properly adjsut the beams down. When I drive at night I light up airplanes.

Maybe we should get night vision goggles.

When I first received my Vintage, I too had the headlight adjustment problem. I purchased the 911 style fluted lenses and modified the adjustment system. Since then I have had no problems.
