My heat riser tubes are about 3/4" dia for my Scat manifold as is the stub on the exhaust pipe but the gaskets supplied only have about a 3/16" hole in them for the heat to pass through. I searched such gaskets on the net and have only found ones with a full 3/4" hole or no hole for complete blockoff. Any ideas why such a restriction is there ??...some other application ? I'm tempted to just enlarge the hole to 3/4" but figured better to ask first. Thanks

Nice one, Larry. Thanks for that. I'm thinking I'm in a colder climate most of the time and will open up the gaskets and keep an eye on things.
