heater box control? | 356 Speedster, 550 Spyder, Replica, Automotive Community

The wire that opens and closes the heater boxes is attached to the control wire (goes to the control next to the Ebrake)by looping one around the other. Seems M mouse to me. Any better ideas as to how it could be made better? Thanks in advance.

OEM VW chassis (later - not with turn knob) has a Z shaped (dog leg) end piece that goes in pull up lever???

When you shorten it you will cut off the two thickened ends.

I soldered two pieces of tubing on mine after I cut them.
