Just picked up my 1915 engine from Warren Miles two days ago. Real nice fella and real nice deal. Thanks to Al Merklin for the good recommend. The engine has the heater boxes installed and I noticed that there is a ~ 7/8" duct coming out of the back of them before the heat goes through the valve an onward to heat my butt upfront. Can someone please say what these small ducts are for ? Just had had a nice 9 days in Florida with the Speedster too. The tow bar worked perfectly and between Satellite Beach, Daytona and St. Pete's we hit weather up to 78 deg.and then managed to dodge all the bad weather up 95 and 81 on the way home in the last two days.
