Went searching on Samba and after the guy holding my $ for 2 weeks sends me a pic of the excellent shaped OEM boxes--they only needed welding in a few places--yah excellent shape hey. Refund coming.

So, looking for a set for my 69 pan based Speedster. Running an 1835 with dell 40s. Ordered Tri Mil Euro 2-Tip, No Heat Risers, Black w/Chrome Tips which is an 1.5" system.

Anyone have a set they would part with. My zip is 44250 Lakemore, Ohio (Akron)

Would prefer OEM as what I have read says all else doesn't compare to amount of heat delivered.  Anyone have success with any newer boxes on the market--most posts are years old.  Thanks, David

I don't see any indication in the description that they are for a 1.5" exhaust (1.375" is stock). Also, they MAY connect to the exhaust with the dreaded donuts, instead of actual flanges. Best to email aircooled.net to confirm these details before ordering. They're a little slow to respond, but usually do, eventually.

I'd avoid those donut connectors. I had endless backfiring issues with my first engine that we finally traced to exhaust leaks that just couldn't be fixed thanks to those donuts.

Heat Exchanger (Heater Box), Heavy Duty AFTERMARKET, Right, 1300-1600cc Type 1 and 2, 043-255-108H

Those would be the Dansk units with internal fins. Good for heat. However, they are also only stock diameter 1 3/8".
