I'm a newbie and I just purchased a barely used 2008 VS with only 600 miles on it. I live in Southern California and Saturday I paid a visit to Kirk at Vintage Speedsters. Kirk mentioned that they just discovered a new re-route for the heater, which makes it blow 10 times better than before and actually makes the defroster work. He said it's a simple fix / re-route. He told me it would take just a few hours of work and he would charge about $200 to $300 to do it if I brought the car back on another day. I should have asked more questions, but it sounds really good to me. I'm sure it sounds better to many of you living in colder climates. Has anyone had this done or heard more details about how it is done?

Jon - Congrats on getting your Speedster! Welcome to the Madness!

I believe that the heater re-route Kirk is referring was introduced a while back by our one-and-only Dr Clock (Alan) and does work VERY well!

Hope you will join our SoCal crew on one of our upcoming cruises. Keep an eye on the 'EVENTS' forum. Also, check out the thread for West Coast Cruise in San Luis Obispo this June. Have fun with your new ride!
