Hi everyone! While I am yet to own a Speedster, I am in the market for one currently. I have been educating myself on this forum and seems to be a good, tight knit community. I am looking for help finding a quality speedster platform, it doesn't have to be perfect, just solid mechanicals and good cosmetics. Please let me know if you are selling, or know someone selling a speedster. Thanks in advance for the help and guidance.

Todd

Todd - it would be great if you joined us in Luis Obispo in June. You'll be able to see most manufacturer's cars at the event (Vintage, Beck, Intermeccanica, JPS, CMC). Open event, so not limited to 354 models. Check under the 'Events' thread for West Coast Cruise.

Hope to see you there!

Thanks for the invite, hopefully I can attend(with my new speedster)!

Waaay back when I was looking, I called on that car. This was about two or three weeks ago. when he had just posted the ad. At that time the car was titled in Colorado. The seller was in the process of registering it in CA. He has a pile of temporary registration certs he acquired as he has extended them over the past few months. He was trying to set up a meeting with the CHP for a vin inspection so he can complete the process of getting it registered in CA.

The seller isn't sure what motor is in it. He told me "it's the bigger one.." and "it has two carburetors".

Thats all I remember from our conversation.

Hope that helps,
Ted

He is claiming now that it has current registration and is Titled. One of the pictures shows an Arizona plate with a temporary CA registration paper on top. I guess I need to ask if it is NOW registered in CA. The price seems fair, even with those concerns, but obviously I need to go look at it, too. He also raised the price, last price was $15900 a couple weeks ago - interesting. . . .

After reading through various posts here on the forums, it appears some of you are actively in market for Speedsters and have already seen some of these vehicles in person. Given that I am not in the LA area and that most of the speedsters for sale are located in LA, can you let me know if you have seen any of these vehices in person?

Thanks!

Thank you Musbjim, I appreciate you! I'll let you know. So far, none of those guys are budging even a penny on their price!

Yeah, back when I was looking - I called the guy in San Juan Cap. He didn't even flinch. He's Not going to budge. Not one dollar.

Be patient, your car will find you.
