Just wanted to say hi to everyone! I don't have a spyder or anything along the lines of that but I am a longtime porsche enthusiast, hoever being a student, I have never owned a porsche of my own because I can't afford them, however I have owned and worked on water-cooled VWs and even a few aircooled VWs, which mechanically are very similar to the early Porsches, if not identical for certain parts. I've always had a love for raw mechanical cars...non of the electrical gimmick, sensor infested, computer controlled cars of today, which is almost impossible to repair at home and definitely no fun for the hands-on mechanic, which is why I've always dreamed of having a Spyder replica one of these days...the car is simply stunning and the replicas look great for what it is. At around 30K plus or minus a few grand, I don't think you can buy any other car that will be this fun to own. I just wanted to say hi to everyone on the forums...I hope to learn a lot from you guys and share your passion for this car! Thanks!
