I don't have a Vintage, I have a CMC - mostly identical to a Vintage, but I'm running 16"X7" Fuchs. I like the look of 16's - they tend to fill the wheel well a bit more than 15's and you then get a nice selection of tires that'll still fit under the body.
Give Kirk or Mary a call at Vintage Speedster they're VERY helpful (562-402-4334). The Tinker Toy's are 17" but I'm not sure of the widths for the front and rears. The rears are about 2" deeper.
