Changed plan C... back to plan A for deck lid on original CMC kit. Need to know distance from face of firewall to center of hole on the hinge mount brackets. I am to embarrassed to explain why...so don't ask...Thanks!

From the rear firewall to the centerline of the hinge pivot bolt = 3"
Vertically from the centerline of the hinge pivot bolt up to the underside
of the body = 1 - 3/16"
You might want to ask on here how other people mounted theirs. There are probably almost as many different methods used as people doing it.
Thanxs Gordon!!! I lost the brackets and cut the Sh..out of the deck lid for a different fitting...so this will help me get back (almost) to the original fitting without another major strife...I and many others...owe you for so many tips!!!
