Congrats, Tony. If you could post pics of the solution or a sketch of the cooling system that would be helpful to a lot of people. My cooling works fine but it's always good to know alternative approaches.

I remember bleeding Fiero cooling systems...we raise the left
rear of the car as high as one would dare to get it to burp....
Very interesting thread! In my opinion the only place for a rad is at the front, has worked well for us with both VW / Audi as well as Subaru power Intermeccanicas under all conditions. Yes, bleeding the cooling system can be a pain. Here is one photos:

I like the way you got around the obstacle of the front beam, Tony. The main parts are up out of harms way.

Tony, looks good.
Hi Tony,
Have you had time to put on some miles? How's the cooling? Inquiring minds want to know.
The car is having a few adjustments this week, addressing the few things that I spotted during running in. Most things are simple but a couple of them were not expected, but I guess it's what you get with a custom car.
She should be back this weekend, maybe I'll strap on the GoPro and post a video of everything working.
I am curious how she'll do as we get into the hotter SoCal weather, that'll be the real test.
I hope your car is purring along also Jim.

I get 3 weeks stateside starting in early March. I pick up the car near LA, where they've installed a new rad and a few other bits that should help it run cooler. I'll let you know how it's going. Cheers!
Jim - Hopefully all the labor contract shenanigans going on at the ports (along the West coast) will be over by then and all those dozens of shipping vessels anchored off the coast can unload/load their cargo.
If you find yourself south of LA towards San Diego let me know, we should get our cars together for coffee and compare cool stories (pun intended).
Tony
