Re-doing an 2010 era 356 and hoping to ID the maker and find an upholstery kit if possible. I know it is not a difficult upholstery job, except for the seats, but having a difficult time finding a "sane" quote here in BC.

Hard to tell from the interior photos because that dash treatment looks different than anything I've seen before. Never seen the extra little piece to the left of the eyebrow pad shaped like that. I've also never seen the door tops shaped that way either. Take and post pictures of the front hood handle and crest, the hinges on the front hood, the engine compartment, and the engine lid hinges.

I'd be willing to bet that is a home-built Fiberfab/CMC/Streetbeasts (depending on the year it was made). Are you sure it dates from ~2010? It looks a bit older. Either way, it's not an Intermeccanica, Beck, JPS, or Vintage.
My $ would be on a Mexican-produced car. Interior was done nicely when new (other than bulky dash eye brows and door toppers). I don't see any CMC/FF telltales. This looks like a Rafael car with the top rear bar bolted to the body
And the front hood hinges are different -

Thanks for the info folks, the car was registered in 2010 but who knows when it was built. Has a 1973 Super Beetle VIN tag and a BC Gov. VIN tag. I think who ever built it originally worked at Disneyland with a guy called Mickey.
Hey, better than Goofy! Here's the way Custom Fiberglass in MX attaches their scissors top. I can't tell if yours is the simple "emergency" 2 bow top or something different. Their front hood hinge doesn't appear to be like yours though.

The top is permanently attached at the back with snaps for the toneau cover. It is next to impossible for one person to but up, install with hold downs fully extended, then tighten. The gap at the top finally disappears.

Hey, I installed a full interior kit from Greg/Anna at Vintage Motorcars into one of the old Intermeccanica pan-based speedsters. Everything worked out just fine, if that helps. https://www.vintagemotorcarsin.../interior-speedster/
There are too many differences between their kit and this car. Door handle location, back seat side panels.... just to name a few. Just going to rip it apart and make new panels and reupholster. Going to be cheaper in the long run than trying to find a kit from the guys that did it originally from Disneyland. Lots of cardboard and drywall corner bead.
Cool project! I don't think I'd be the only one that would like to see some project pics as it progresses. Best of luck with your endeavor!
