Tried search first and couldn't find anything so if I could get a little help here I could get the door panels on today. I got the outside door handles opening with the release arm all bolted up. I'm just struggling with the inside thin handle rod and it's position to the latch.

I.ve always wondered why my door handle buttons were so hard to depress.. Is their a picture of a better set up that I can duplicate. I did upgrade the rods when built it. I used a 3/4 angle iron with a overlay in the button zone to make it sturdy and it is Z-ed as you discribed. and it did have flimzy rods before.

My car is a VS. But I think it could be a Ryan Motors leftover ..I think they bought out CMC.. and If Im corect? V.S. bought out Ryan .

Leon got some pics or drawing? Id like to re design this and upgrade it.

Id like it to work perfect with light pressure. That means better leverage at the button and more travel. On mine the rod pivot is about 3 inches from the bottom of the door.
The pivot point needs to be closer to the door latch..I want it to be a lot easyer to press. I've never been complety pleased with it as it is.
