Whats wrong with this picture?
I lost the ability to shift to first or second from a stop.
Bought a new coupler but it's not the same as the old one. The center bar in the new one is a fixed (I think) piece and the old one screws in and out. Also my hocky stick has two dimples.

It all worked fine until a couple of weeks ago when I thought my clutch cable snaped.

I think my clutch disc is the issue.

Ideas? Call 571-437-8982 if you have the answer.

Bill, The center bar piece slides out of the new coupler. There should be a lag type bolt and conical washer that screw thru the center of the bar piece once installed on the rod. See if you can't push the bar piece out and see how it fits thru the hole in the end of the shift rod. Gotta tell ya the end of that rod don't look real healthy to me but it still should work.

Bill - CIP1 shows that couple fitting near all models - Combi thru T1. Here's link with part explosion.

Do you have right play in the clutch cable linkage? If it slips I'd say its the disc but getting it in gear is more a cable or the release bearing fork (they crack and the release bearing no longer moves)
