You won't believe what happened. I had my car on ebay with 6 hours to go, car was bid up to $20,500, I get a message saying that my auction has been cancelled because it was in the wrong category!!! What??? There are 7 other speedsters in the 356 category, apparently it is supposed to be in the "replica" category. So someone singled mine out and reported it as being in the wrong category. I had no idea it was in the wrong category, listed it there before and based on what others were using that is what I used. Soooo bogus! There are some very spiteful people out there. Would have loved to have gotten a email from them saying "hey, wrong category, change it"! So nowwww I am back to square one, again. :(

ebay has gone completely crazy with new and arbitrary rules that change on a weekly basis. What does not change, other than upward, is their rate increases on anything I want to sell.....It used to be a good place to sell, I have sold a couple thousand items out there, but none since they cancelled a few of my auctions for "reproduction 550 parts" and then withdrew a paypal payment (permantely) of $580 for parts already sent to, received by, and buyer happy with. They claimed it was "fraud" by "buyers bank". No other explaination ever, and they refused to even talk to me, and all the documentation in the world made no difference...got a "so sue us" response....nice people. Craig's list works pretty good for me these days....

I relisted the car this morning after yesterdays fiasco, seems as though I am not the only one that this happened to. It was so upseting, I had a very nice guy that was interested in the car here locally, he even took it to the mechanic to have it looked at. If there is anyone on here that was bidding, please take another look!
