HO-LEEE SCHLITZ!!!!
Um... no.
I am not the man who has everything.
Cummon' guys-- surely you've got $20K laying around for some rusty wheels.
Ummmmmm...........
no.
How do these compare to the 190 wheels being offered by Vintage?...
(sorry... I had to...)

Slightly heavier, which you’ll make up for with your lightened wallet.

Stan, Lane, Bob (and you too Ted)- those wheels have history!- didn't you look at the list? They originally were on an RS or RSK! And on an original Speedster for some years afterwards! That privilege alone is worth what he's asking, if not more!
Seriously, on a replica site, that much for a set of wheels does seem a little lot silly. They are very cool, don't get me wrong, but $20,000 cool? Too rich for me! (I'll let the guys who argue which licence plate bolts are correct and scoff at their competitors because they don't have 'original air' in their cars' tires argue it out!)
And since the Vintage 190 wheels came out, Ted, at the price they are I've always thought they were a strong contender for THE wheel to have! (your Technomagnesio's and Stan, your Bivens are also very cool, btw!) If when I started this journey wide 5 disc brakes and those wheels were available I might have gone a different way from the oe alloys on the car now. 2 things to make the 190's even cooler (maybe even the ultimate!)- make a 6 1/2 or 7" with the 911R (almost 5 1/2") backspacing (so you can put 205's on sufficiently wide rims on the back) and make them as 16" wheels.
I'm done (for now, anyway- I'm sure I'll have more to say later!). Al
PS- Stan's right- the 190's, Ted's Technomagnesio's and Stan's Biven's are all lighter!
I make the joke because every time I see a nice set of wheels for sale on Pelican... that question comes up.

I hear you! Everybody there's too afraid to try something new because they're worried about what their fellow 'colleagues' will think. Dead end thinking like that can't be good for their part of the hobby...
Isn't that kinda like the guy (or gal) who spends an extra $5,000 to get a bicycle 2 pounds lighter than mine, which he could do just by leaving one of his two water bottles at home on his current bike?

Yeah, but spending money on a new bike keeps the hobby alive and drives r&d.
Bought 'em.
(Kidding)
