When intalling my external oil cooler I had the lines switched and also blew oil all over the floor.

Were you a victim of the same "Dumb-ass-attack"

Hey Jerome, yah what a mess!!! I found out though that the Fahm filter that was sold to me could not take the pressure of the motor and that's why it blew. Bought a Wix filter like the one I had previously and no problem now.

Great fun. I just finished hooking everything up jumped in the car to fire it up and watch for leaks. Started it up, waiting for the oil pressure to come up and...BLAMMO!! I nearly messed my shorts!

I ended up using some Gunk Engine Brite on the inner fender then rinsed it down with a hose.

Isn't this a great hobby!!!

I've heard that Gunk Engine Bright also works on your shorts - just in case there's a next time.....
