The snow is almost melted. Gonna wake up the speedy from hybernation the first day it over 50 degrees.

Take a river cruise---better scenery--we did last year for our 25th anniv. On the Seine River on the Baroness; Paris to Normandy and back to Paris.

Shouldn't this thread go in the "Cruise" area of this site?

I "HI HO'ed" off to work yesterday in the Speedster. Sunny and 70 by early afternoon. The rest of this week is going to be high stress with a big meeting that I'm on charge of, and a bunch of VIPs for our program in attendance, so I needed yesterday to properly start the week off.

Still, I'm looking forward to the first cruise of Spring. Since there are few Speedsters in the area, I'll try to get my VW buddies together.

high of 61 today, speedster is below my office in the parking garage. Not that the temp matters much. It has been in the same spot with the outside temp at 25 over the winter. I live 3 miles from work... would love to have a longer commute! Ill take what I can get. Very excited spring is around the corner.

I'll be cruising on the ice tomorrow afternoon...suppsoed to be sunny, only minus 2 and wind out of the south at 25 kph. Got a new kite yesterday that should be perfect. Haul out the BBQ, cooler with beer and burgers and a couple of lawn chairs and I'm all set. Tailgating on the ice road...

Gerd, aren't you to busy to be cruising?????

I'm usually too busy cruising to get any work done!

60 and sunny 4 days in a row. Got my annual inspection sticker on Monday. I have to drive as much as possible for 2 more days because it will be 40 and raining by the weekend. Take it when you can get it.
