I have been admiring the Speedster kits out there and would love to get one myself.
I have always been a car guy my entire life and with the prices of vehicles now a days it's almost impossible to have a show car to play with on the week ends.

So I will be on here from time to time reading on the tips, and learning from all you pros on here.

Thanks!

I'm in Denton and would love to get in on some central get together! I tried emailing everyone on the registry within 150 miles or so and if I got a reply it was that they didn't have their cars anymore for one reason or another. I don't suppose there would be some way to glean the registry down to those that had been on the site in a year or so and then have an archive of others? Anyway, count me in on anything we can put together! Maybe a bluebonnet run? Have to hook up pretty quickly for that next 30 days or so.
Eric, if you plan on picking up one of these tubs you'll gonna find out that it's not a from "time to time" thing when visiting this site, it becomes a more likely an every half hour thing, checking in and catching up with these so-called experts and what their up too here... when you decide to pull the trigger we'll be here with you when you do, in fact some of these guys might even know the car you're going to buy... Believe me my new friend... these animals know a ton about these special little rides and I STILL love mine... You should be able to find some sweet deals right now.. some folks are hurting out there and it seems to be a buyers market right now... Good hunting

Speedster "D"

Well if Hot Springs, AR has enough attraction to host the #1 Harley Owner's Group (HOG) in the nation as well as the #1 Bassmasters tournament in the country on our Lake Hamilton,it could be a great destination for a Speedster owners gathering.

Google it and see what you think.

A "central" location would take nothing away from the Carlisle or W. Coast events--that's certain, but if there were enough cars and folks who wanted to get together, this would be the place.

BMW's magazine at one time voted our Highway 7 as the #1 scenic drive in America. Personally I'd say that was US1 at Big Sur, but that's what BMW felt that year. The Rockefeller car museum is on that route
and is a great destination---Google that too.

Because we have a thoroughbred horse racing track here, we have far more than our share of first class motels, hotels and restaurants. The lakes and Ouachita mountains make it a scenic paradise too.

I know we have folks in LA, MS, TX, TN, MO, OK and more in the center of the country and there may be some others who, like me, enjoy longer drives in their Speedsters.

There is time for something late this fall?

Any interest and any other ideas on timing and location? Alice and I would be "in" for wherever it might be held in the 6 state area.

Another thought would be to rotate the venue within the "South Mid West-ish" area.
