Im going to be installing an amp in the trunk of my speedster, I don't want a head unit so i was thinking about running a audio jack from the amp to seat so i can plug my iPod or phone in for music. Is there a device anyone knows about that is bluetooth to replace the audio jack cord so its wireless? Any suggestions or ideas would be awesome. Thanks

It is possible you could use this Bluetooth dongle:

It has RCA inputs that might allow you to hook it up directly to the amplifier. I'd use a cable extension and mount the dongle in the cab of the car to increase the signal strength. You'd also need a switch to power on the amplifier with since that is usually done with the power antennae lead from the head unit (stereo).
I say maybe because I've never tried it before. The other option i to get an iPod controller that plugs into the amp and then plugs into your phone or iPod. You can get one with a long enough cord to reach a trunk mounted amplifier. You could run the cords under the seat and have them come out next to the e-brake handle. You could even mount an amplifier volume control under the dash and control the volume from there.
You'd need these two items;
This controls your amp's volume.

This will connect new iPhones direct to the amplifier:

This will connect iPods and older iPhones to an amplifier

Double check everything with a qualified installer as some of these suggest hooking them up to a head unit with RCA inputs. Amplifier have RCA inputs as well and I don't see why you'd need a head unit to operate them.
Here's a link to a IMHO pretty good speedster install:

The parts I listed above are what you need to do this install. Crutchfield has evrything you'd need to set this up.
Or, check out the hidden systems at www.woodyscustomshop.com. i added a bluetooth dongle from ebay for $10 to go wireless with one of woody's hidden systems.
That is pretty cool Major. When I searched for Bluetooth Amps I never saw that.
Yeah, that amp looks pretty cool, and not very big either. It looks like you could bridge one side for a sub and leave the other side normal for a stereo pair. You know, a 2 + 1 setup.
Even with a regular amp there are devices available cheaply that will do Bluetooth. I bought a couple of these: http://www.banggood.com/Blueto...paign=electronic-xie
I put one in the garage in a wood box attached to an extra receiver and speakers. Easily concealed under dash, very small.
Also, most phones can control volume of Bluetooth out. Set it as loud as you want, then pull it back from there.
I always thought it would be cool to have a pair of speakers, a sub, and an amp hidden in the Spyder with no head unit. But then I think about the weight......

Also found these speakers that had great reviews and at only $129 it seems like a good buy, maybe mount them behind the seats since they are only 3" deep.

No I don't think it charges. I don't have an Iphone, and I always use the Bluetooth feature. What is neat about it is you can use a thumb drive or micro SD card with music on it as well as the Bluetooth, plus it has FM radio and a direct cable connection. I soldered a short wire to the antenna terminal and the radio reception is pretty good with a approx. 3" lead inside my garage. Not bad for $8.
