I wonder if this would be able to be done on our cars easily, somewhere on the body work... check the link below. I emailed the fella and he was kind enough to share the process on how he added it and covered the lexan and painted it... it has been on his truck for many years quite nicely done... They also do hidden signal lights in the bumper... they have videos done ... quite doable in my opinion.

I have the CU rear lights and they work great but never too much rear lighting. I am glad I have the flashing THIRD light to help with warning the drivers behind me.
