Lambros, Jjr installed a Bugpack hideaway system in his CMC and it works. Only thing is that it's stock diameter (1-3/8") and the lower part of the triangular flange can sometimes scrape if you're not careful (remember that also depends on the ride height). Otherwise it fits great.
Not exactly, the hideaway tubing is larger than 1-3/8, I believe it is 1-5/8"od, what Ricardo means to say is that the header that goes with it, will fit (without cutting anything on the body and not sticking out on the back) is not available larger than 1-3/8"OD. At least from Bugpack or Empi. Also, Empi from/to Bugpack headers and mufflers are not interchangeable since the position of the mating flange is different. If real performance is a concern, meaning 1-1/2"od or larger tubing is required, then either a customized header or exhaust system is required, cutting the body might be needed, or having a merged exhaust sitcking out the back is necessary. I did not chose any of the previous so I stayed with the stock OD tubing for now.(Im still looking)
My car is lowered and the system fits very well with only a minor scratch to the flange at the back on heavy bumps... hope this helps, if you need any pix let me know... -jJ
Also this topic has been covered extensively on forum and there are custom exhaust options like A1 etc.
