HIGH PRIORITY CARLISLE ALERT!!

Ok, folks, if you're staying with us at the Ramada Inn Carlisle, I suggest that you call and reconfirm your reservation. I just did so and was told that two of my three days had somehow been cancelled. Call them ASAP and make sure you're set up ok, or you might not have a place to stay. Not sure what happened, and they were very apologetic, but as of this evening, they have more folks for Thursday night than for Friday and Saturday. That's absolutely wrong! The hotel direct line is 717-243-8585.

I thought something was a foul when they called me the other day saying that only 15 rooms were reserved out of the 30 room block. I'll call the Ramada in the AM and find out WTH is going on.

Just called (9:20pm EDT) and spoke with Ashley - sharp young lady.

No Problemo...had me in there for the right dates, right number of beds and No Fume, por favor.....

Keep confirming, though....ya never know and it's a little cramped sleeping in a Speedie.

I called this afternoon also and my room reservation dates and prices were all as we had agreed. Whew! It's too late in the game to go motel shopping.

Maybe Lane's wife is trying to give him a message??

I just spoke with the Carlisle Ramada Ltd. supervisor "Lindsay", this has been resolved with sincere apoligies from the Ramada Ltd.

I just called the hotel and confirmed my reservations. Here's how the confusion was explained to me:

The block of rooms was made for May 16-18. If you are staying one or both of those nights within the block then you will have one confirmation number. If you made a reservation to stay a day earlier or a day later than the block dates then you will have another confirmation number (maybe even one for Thursday night and one for Sunday night if you are staying both of those nights). The lady at the hotel explained that some people only thad the confirmation number for the dates within the block and that was where the confusion came in. So don't forget to bring ALL of your confirmation numbers with you. :>)

I'm still confused, as I had two separate numbers, one of which they said was cancelled. No worries, though, as it's been fixed.

I have a room with two beds--one of which I will be using. The other might be available, if you can ignore the sound effects that may arise whilst I sleep. A very recent phone call confirmed that my reservation is intact for Friday and Saturday night.

I only got one # for all three nights. They said all was ok when I called.

I just put some curtains in the windows of my truck.
