There was a nice red Abarth double bubble in the Marin Sonoma Concours this year. I did both the tour and Concours the next day with my Chapron bodied Citroen Convertible. The Tour was fabulous.......imagine chasing an uber-rare 60's Ferrari Calif. another 60's Ferrari 330, and an Aston Martin DB convertible from the 60's....... ala James Bond...... thru the twisties up the Marin coast, it was spectacular!!! Another highlight was coming mostly downhill from the coast into Petaluma with two Alfas and 2 Porsche 356's following me! I was lead car of a group at that point......with other traffic sometimes you'd get regular non-Tour folks in the way........or an old Pierce Arrow, Kissel, or Rolls Royce from the 30's or 40's in front of you until you could pass. A supercharged MG from 1938 was in front of me as I passed the Hog Oyster place, really skinny tires on that ride & 2 tiny windshields, one for the driver & another for the passenger....he was hard to pass. My car performed flawlessly! I was rolling with the BIG boys.........great fun!

The Keller Winery had a great gourmet lunch outside under arbors.......their wine was flowing.......This Arturo Keller has an astounding car collection, giant separate buildings with like 30 cars in each.........we were only allowed in the French and Italian car buildings........like a dozen Bugattis, a dozen Hispano Sueza's one built entirely from mahogany, like a boat, Chapron bodied Delahayes, Delages, etc in the French building............another dozen Alfa Romeos from the 30's 40's........dozen classic Ferraris, etc. in the Italian building........most amazing collection I've ever seen. I guess it is hard to get in to see these. He wasn't even there, was showing a car in France. He has won Pebble Beach several times.
