Made it home about 6:00 this evenning. Hit rain for about the first half hour or so but that was it for the rain, however it was very windy out there.

I had a great time this weekend you are a great bunch of guys. Thanx for welcoming me into the "speedster brotherhood" with open arms.

Mark

4 days in Vegas? Please invite spyders! We're up for that one! We just got home about an hour ago. Long topless drive from LA. We split the drive into two days beginning Sunday. I hit some rain on Sunday near the grapevine but only for 10-15 minutes. Not a big deal.

Nice to see the clock turning over. 2900 miles and counting. I'd really like to say "thanks" to the speedy guys who drove with me. Especially Bruce Williams who seemed never out of sight and Ray Armstrong who never stopped smiling the whole way down I-5, even when we encountered the 'pavement discontinuities' that comprise the alleged freeway in southern California...

See you guys on a run soon I hope.

Hi Guys
We made it home to Minnesota this afternoon. Cold & windy. It was great to put some faces with the names. Good to meet all that I did get to talk to. Joel, thanks for letting me try your car on for a fit. Mark & Jim, you guys have got some major smiling going on!!! (nice cars too) Thanks for making a non-owner feel welcome.

Mark,

Glad to hear you made it OK. Our parking lot sessions at the Marriott were fun, always something to talk about as these Speedies and Spyders are great conversation starters. We made it back to Oregon w/o any showers although Angela picked up a few at the north end of the Grapevine. Man, that Grapevine is really an item *&%#@ isn't it, She was able to keep moving and keep the rain blowing over the top until she ran out of it.

Funniest thing about Sunday was when it started drizzling a little, Dan Palmquist said, "Oh, it will blow out in a couple of minutes" It really started coming down about that time. Dan was still optomistic about the precip ending shortly. Everytime he mentioned it, it came down harder. Dan walked away and lo and behold it slowed and then stopped. Dan, we pronounce you the "Rainmaker". Next outing, talk about something else will you? LOL. Dan,your new car is aces. Being delivered by Henry is cool too.

Bruce
