I searched in the topics but posts seem to be old. I want to by the hood straps, baseball glove color if that is possible, if not tan. Seems there are a few suppliers out there but from the pictures some might not look as nice or thick, maybe on the thin side. Anyone have an opinion on the best looking brand or seller of these? I’m not on a budget, will spend for the better looking product.

Alli, the previous supplier of those leather products was an SOC member 'Dusty' who has since passed away. @Troy Sloan 's wife uses the same template as Dusty used in making these straps. Troy will be best to comment on these.
Just fyi @Speedster Alli , I have baseball glove vinyl interior and brown hood straps. When the straps were new they were noticeably lighter in color than my interior upholstery, so I used some Angelus Neatsfoot oil to condition the straps. After three or four applications spaced a day or so apart, my straps did become darker and now match the interior much better, and they look a bit more aged.

And then forever more, apply some "Leather therapy" at the beginning and end of the driving season to keep them supple and crack-free.
This was recommended to me by Dusty Johnson, saddle-maker to the stars, for some saddle-leather seats.

When I was a kid, Neatsfoot oil was what I used with an actual baseball glove.
Lexol is also a good name to keep in mind for leather conditioner.

She may not know where the PM's are located.
@Speedster Alli PMs, or Private Messages, are located at the top of the screen where the blue box containing your screen name is at. Move the cursor over that blue box and a drop down screen/list will appear. You'll see "Private Messages" listed and if you have any there will be a number indicating how many you have. Click on that and you should have a message from Troy.
