The Hoopty has moved (last week) to its new digs, and is unfortunately sitting outside in the weather. Naturally, she's outside just in time for the first true deluge of summer and the Maryland mugginess that follows.
Undeterred, however, I am making a wiring harness at home in my living room and I have identified and cleaned every remaining part we're going to re-use. When the weatherman says we're good to go for three days of clear weather, we'll be off like a shot to the sand-blasting man and the powdercoat folks.
Meanwhile, the new shop is in progress. The optimist in me says I should be back to work on the old girl in a few more days and that I might be driving by Christmas.
