So everyone knows, I'm not an artist. That drawing was provided by the Center For the Visually Unpleasant as an object lesson to me. Now that I've stepped away from it for a while, I'm really going to have to draft something up in color to see what the heck the paint will look like. I shall now begin doing surgery on a plastic model.
(Now that that's settled ... Thanks for the compliment anyway, David.)
The experts here (Angela and Co., I think) say Powder Blue and Marigold Orange. Late 60s Gulf racing; the 917s. If not that, then Arrow Blue and the same orange. The middle stripe will carry the orange all the way to the back. (There's an update for the people still following the project; the painter will be doing all the fiberglass work, re-seating the windshield and striping the car for $1,500. All I have to do is take him the body sections!)
I think most of the folks here have seen these, but you probably weren't here then:

Cory...

You should do it with the Arrow Blue. Then whenever you went to Denver, you could get into Bronco games free and drive it up and down the field after touchdowns.

I'd vote for the Le Mans colors. Not only classic, but you've got some tongue-in-cheek irony going with the Ford crowd.

Really like the stripe flare in front; what is the concept for the back?
