How do we sign up?

Joe, you just show up.  Tom Boney, are you out there?  This is less than an hour from your place.  Lets get 4-5 cars together.  It will be lots of fun.  After we get tired of the girls, oops I meant cars, we can put some doo rags on and take the Speedsters to Geneva.

I'm glad to see interest in this event. I would be willing to host a BBQ at my house after the show. We can do the show for 2 to 3 hours and then head out for a back roads cruise and back to my house for food and drinks. It would really be awesome to have 4-5 Tubs at a show that's usually dominated by muscle cars and bikes.

I might be talked into this...crossing into Illinois again!

Marty you still in for this?  What time do you think we need to get up there to register. 

 

Otay, letz gets downs to bidness.  The Mrs. agreed to have you bums over for food and drinks after the car show.  I was waiting to see the weather and it looks good enough (mid- 80's) with very slight chance of the wet stuff.  I would like to attend the show for a few hours and then hit the back roads back to my house for food and drink.  We should try to get to the Schaumburg Hooters no later than 11:00 am.  I figure we can head out from Hooters no later than 2 to 2:30 and head for a Speedsters tour through some back country roads and to my house by 3:30.   I can park 5 cars in my driveway.  Can I get a show of hands on who is interested in attending? Anyone within a couple hours drive should think about this one.  Joe said he is coming. 

DANG, Marty! I wish I lived close enough to join you guys (especially for some of that oven-fired pizza)!

I could crank up the pizza oven if you twist my arm.

If it is not raining, I am in. Looking forward to it.

I'm on the fence as of now, I'd like to see how the weather is shaping up. How far south of Schaumburg are you Marty?

30 minutes for you Illinois drivers puts you in Ohio!

It's really difficult to predict this show, but if past history is correct, we'll have a nice showing. Having said this, I wouldn't be any later than 10:30 at all.

As much as I'd like to say I'll jump in the Speedster and bop on down there, I think I'm going to take a pass on this one. Too much freeway action to get there and back in reasonable time. Sorry men, but I'll still keep reminding you about the Road America Vintage Weekend-Sept 7-9.

Ok, looks like three of us weather permitting.  Only takes two or more Tubs and it's a SOC gathering, right.  Joe, Ill see you in the AM.  Tom, will meet us at the Schaumburg Show.

The Car & Bike Show at Frato's in Schaumburg is still going on.  Mayor will be out there too handing out a trophy.
