Banjo horn button is 3 3/16" which equals 3.1875 so it might be too big for dropping in.
There's another discussion going on horns and there might be some information that will apply:

fpcopo. I just posted some thoughts under the above thread if you are interested.
-Stoddard reference P horn button to be 82mm.
-banjo/flat 4 reference 81mm for their buttons.
-sierra Madre references their P car crest buttons to be 79mm
... Go figure!
... I have seen several original P cars with the flat four golden lady and st christopher horn buttons installed.
cheers
Frank...If the Sierra Madre one looks like it will fit, give me your exact measurements with a caliper (Thousandths) and I might be able to go over there and measure theirs if it's in stock. It's only 2 miles from my home.........Bruce
Going out of town for a week. Will get with you when I get back. Thanks, Bruce.
Here's what I did:
I've put in a flat-4 horn button (which will fit a Flat-4 Banjo perfectly... Obviously) and then I took a piece of double face foam tape and glued a C horn cap on it.
Works perfectly:
More pics of the Black Betty, please. That car is the juice.
niiiiice black betty!
you build it? (i don't remember seeing a build thread for this beast)
what muffler you running? that's an A1 sidewinder, eh? I have a 2056cc T4 with a sidewinder and magnaflow. i've never heard mine (as a passerby), but your sounds AWESOME!
Well... A C horn cap is a horn cap that was used on the steering wheel of a Porsche 356C
I stil had one of these lying around (an original one), so I just glued it on my flat 4 horn button...
I see now that those caps are quite rare:

It's just a horn cap that is used on a Porsche 356C.
I hate to hijack this thread...
I did it all myself; I even helped making the (special) body. This body was made by a friend of mine: Gé Vaandrager. He is a magician with GRP and moulded a real Speedster. From this mould he made 10 Speedster bodies and mine is the last one he made (#10). This last body was converted and modified to my specifications.
The exhaust is custom made by EPS (Exhaust Power Supply); a Dutch company that makes unbelievable nice and great SS exhausts: www.uitlaten.com
This is the build thread on the Dutch Porsche forum: http://www.porscheforum.nl/vie...php?f=17&t=14685
