I actually found the identical button on eBay and paid about $75.00 for it. Easy to install.
As as far as attaching an emblem to your existing button, I have heard of guys using the hood handle emblem (after grinding off the posts with a Dremel), but also P hubcap emblems, and just gluing or epoxying them on. One guy then used Varathane (liquid plastic) over the whole assembly to give it a ‘finished’ look. Ultimately, I didn’t love the way they looked, so I just bought the P horn button.

Give Greg a call at @Vintage Motorcars Inc located in Hawaiian Gardens. He put this one on my VS Speedster Nardi. I'm not sure if he has one for a banjo steering wheel.
Really adds a nice detail to the interior.
