Norma Clamp was my third grade teacher. She kept a tight grip on us kids.

But don't you only use those in a pinch?
What happens when you un-pinch? I assume you need a new clamp?
I seem to have a coolant hose clamp that leaks a bit and I have to tighten every spring. Go figure.
Every year, it springs a leak LOL!
Oetiker clamps are great for LOW pressure uses. Don't try to use these on fuel injection!
I have them for beer dispensing hoses and such. They're functional, cheap, they don't leak and HAVE NO SHARP EDGES.
Well if you spring a leak you could get a Rezum treatment Danny .. ... just kidding.

Just one more reason for @Sacto Mitch and me to stick to our good old low-pressure Carburetors instead of that fancy-schmancy EFI.

Your experience with them seems vastly different than mine. I'd trust them for almost anything short of hydraulic hoses.
Nobody offers a pressure rating, but I've used them in places where everything else (short of a crimped ferrule) leaked.
I apologize, I thought I read it somewhere. Carry on.
